An overview of Critericon’s plans for this year and next:

Critericon 2016 is hosting a mini-program of events at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada in August, running alongside Creation Entertainment’s famous Star Trek convention (STLV).

Critericon 2016 is a prequel event. It is an interactive business card – a way to say hello, test out a few theories, and entertain. Critericon will provide an alternate and supplemental schedule of activities for convention attendees and guests. There will be demos, classes, games, and mixers. It’s a great opportunity for creators, performers, and curious folks to relax, engage, learn, and play.

Our crowdfunder & your donations help Critericon get off the ground as a traveling mini convention, initially hosting its promo event at the Rio Hotel in Vegas this year. To see how you can contribute, visit our Contributor page.

Critericon is driven to host mini-programs and events at other conventions. We are working with GaymerX presently, and are already set to run alongside STLV (Star Trek Las Vegas) this year. Our goal is to work with other businesses in order to cross-promote, share resources, support good causes, and help each other grow. We additionally plan to run Critericon 2017 in its full form at its own venue in San Jose, California.

We hope you’ll show your support and join us in our endeavors. You can follow us on Twitter or Facebook for news and opportunities or contact us through our website.
